World Environment Day : Acting for a sustainable future

There can be no sustainable development without environmental protection. Land degradation, exacerbated by unsustainable land use and climate change, is a major concern. However, this situation is not inevitable.

We are taking concrete action to reverse this trend. In Senegal, for example, our climate change adaptation project is taking a number of key activities:
- Raising awareness among young people: We are working in schools to educate the next generation about environmental issues.
- Regeneration of the wooded savannah: We are actively contributing to the restoration of local ecosystems in Ngouye.
- Promoting agroecology: We encourage agricultural practices that reduce pressure on the environment and preserve natural resources.

Together, we can build a future where development goes hand in hand with respect for our planet.
